Terms of Service (Servicevoorwaarden) for The Art Urns

1. General

These terms apply to all purchases made at [TheArtUrns.com] (our Shopify store). By placing an order, you agree to these conditions.

2. Products & Custom Orders

  • Handmade Nature: Each urn is unique—minor variations in color/texture are part of its artistry, not defects.

  • Custom Requests: Personalization (names, dates) must be confirmed in writing via email. No refunds for spelling errors after approval.

  • Lead Time: Handcrafted items require 7–14 business days before shipping (excluding customization).

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Discreet Packaging: All urns ship in plain boxes for privacy.

  • International Orders: Buyer handles import taxes/duties (we declare items as "memorial ceramics").

  • Delays: Not liable for carrier delays (weather, strikes), but we’ll assist in tracking.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to Sensitivity: Returns accepted only for damaged items (must report within 48 hours with photos).

  • Non-Returnable: Custom/personalized urns (unless damaged).

  • Refunds: Issued to original payment method within 14 days of return approval.

5. Liability

  • Ceramic Care: Urns are fragile—we’re not liable for mishandling post-delivery.

  • As Storage: Follow local laws for ash storage/scattering. We don’t provide legal advice.

6. Privacy

  • Data Use: Personal info (for customization) is never shared/sold. See our Privacy Policy.
